Born in Arlington, Massachusetts, Aleisha began acting when she was 4 years old, inspired by such film greats as Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn. She continued to act through junior high school but soon turned to another passion, writing. After years of being away from the stage, Aleisha starred in and directed a string of successful one-act plays in San Diego before setting her sights on a film career. In 2004, she wrote, directed and starred in the short film, An Act of God. For the lead role in Begleiter, Aleisha was able to call upon her fluency in the German language, which she picked up as an exchange student in Oberharmersbach in 1993. Currently, she can be seen in Weezer's music video, "We Are All On Drugs."

John graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Theatre. He has performed in Mexico, South Africa, and Russia. After college, John created a traveling children's theatre company, "Teatro de Luna," which produced an original piece entitled "The Boy and the Tooth Thief." John now lives in Venice, California where he is pursuing a film acting career. Currently he teaches acting to children and improvisation to adults at Malibu Actors Studio. Begleiter is his motion picture acting debut.

Brian has been acting in the San Diego theatre scene for the last three years. He has had the chance to work with the Fritz Theatre, Ion Theatre, On Stage, New Village Arts and the renowned Coronado Playhouse. Brian is a professional member of the Actors Alliance of San Diego and an accomplished musician. Playing Marion's evil ex-boyfriend, Nick, in Begleiter was a pleasure, he says.

Ken Osmond is best known as cultural icon Eddie Haskell, the insincere brownnoser from the classic 1950s U.S. sitcom "Leave It To Beaver." He later made guest appearances on such shows as "Lassie," "The Munsters," and "Happy Days." Ken left acting and became a police officer for the LAPD for 17 years, retiring after being shot three times in the line of duty. He reprised his Eddie Haskell role in a reunion series, "Still The Beaver," and in the 1997 feature film adaptation, Leave It To Beaver. Ken continues to take acting work on occasion, such as his cameo appearance in the short film, Begleiter.

CH. Oakhurst Mountain Maverick, C.D., better known as "Spencer," lives in the country where he loves to hunt for rabbits and squirrels and an occasional fox or bobcat. Spencer finished his breed championship at the Palm Springs dog show in January 2002 at 18 months of age. He went on to win Best of Breed at this show. He has two agility titles, two obedience titles, a tracking title, and a title as a senior lure courser. He continues to train for advanced titles in all these events. Spencer has the distinction of being the first Rhodesian Ridgeback to earn the American Kennel Club's Versatility Companion Dog title. He is also a registered therapy dog and works with the elderly and Alzheimer patients every week, in addition to his acting work in commercials. Begleiter is his first starring role in a movie.

Actress/writer Cassie Benavidez has been seen in over 50 motion picture and television projects. Her TV credits include such hit shows as "The Shield," "Veronica Mars," "Lincoln Heights" and "Saints & Sinners." She has appeared in pilots by directors Guy Ritchie and Adam Shankman and producer Barry Schindel, to name a few, and in such independent feature films as "Clipping Adam" starring Academy Award winner Louise Fletcher, "The Exorcist Chronicles" and "Stone & Ed." She recently co-wrote the feature-length screenplay "La Hija de la Curandera" with Begleiter writer/producer/director Dan Margules. The script, which has already won the praises of Josephina Lopez ("Real Women Have Curves"), Stuart Gordon ("Honey, I Shrunk the Kids") and Academy Award nominee Edward James Olmos, is currently being repped by The Firm.

Lauri Russell started acting in school theatre productions before she could read. By the age of 7 she had written and directed her own play which was produced at the Faultline Theatre in San Diego. She keeps a busy schedule working in commercials and has appeared on television in "The House Show." In addition to Begleiter, her film credits include Death Game and An Act Of God. Lauri aspires to write and direct her own films in the future while continuing to seek challenging acting roles.

Born and raised in the South of England, Sara began acting at a very early age and hasn't looked back since. She graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in English Literature. Sara moved to London following graduation and frequently appeared on stage in the fringe theatres of the West End. Since relocating to Southern California in 2003, Sara has set her sights on a film career and has been steadily building her resume. She has just returned from San Francisco where she was filming an independent feature film titled The Curse of Alcatraz and was subsequently cast as the lead in another independent feature film, Pushing Thirty, which will be shot on location in Southern California. Sara is represented by Artist Management in San Diego.
